Despite the fact that I have read more than half – I still can not form an opinion about this book. It is all good. And the plot, and style, and manner of presentation. But something is still much for me, something pushes me, and I still can not understand that. The book tells about the ugly middle-aged woman who works blunt concierge in a luxury house. She is very intelligent, and she has to masquerade as a silly, not to break the internal fabric of the rich and stupid inhabitants of the house. Throughout the book she tells the reader about all the inhabitants. After some time one of the tenants dies, and his place infuses mysterious Japanese man, with the arrival of which changes the life of concierge. In parallel, we are presented pages of the diary not for years smart young girl who watches the others and is planning suicide, and setting fire to his apartment. Thought this girl – perhaps the most interesting part of this book. Anyway, I found in them many useful things. So here. The book leaves a very ambivalent impression, but it is worth reading.

After disease
Well, I worked my first shifts after illness. They were in a normal environment, the more that I’m homesick for the team. And I was glad for all to see, even those who regularly blows my mind! And today came to see me, my cousin, with whom we had a fun time playing blues and rock guitars. After yesterday’s night shift brought home some new books!
- “Lagre wagon” by Max Frei (my favourite <3)
- “Dandelion wine” by R. Bradbury
- “L’elegance du herisson” by M. Barbery
- “Flowers for Algernon” by D. Keyes
More still can not say anything, because I have not yet started to read them…
