“Kanojo Ni Tsuite” by Banana Yoshimoto

“Last but not least”, as the Americans say in such cases – the book left a very good impression. This time the plot secondariness admitted even the writer in the epilogue of the book. However, this does not reduce the high ratings! As always, it’s not what it seems initially. Who is a real person and who is a ghost? Family bloody drama that investigates the main character and his relative lead to completely unexpected results… Recommended readings.

“Last but not least”,

“Hardboiled. Hard Luck. Mizuumi” by Banana Yoshimoto

The book consists of three short novels. It begins to pray for health, and ends for the repose. The first story “Hardboiled”, in my opinion the most successful in the book, tells us about a mystical night of the girl who takes up residence in the hotel and confronted with ghosts. And the whole thing – a terrible altar, on which she accidentally stumbled into the forest.

As a continuation of the novel “Hard Luck”, the idea flows into the family drama, tied at the death of a family member. Slightly more dismal story.

“Mizuumi” (Lake) tells of a meeting of two lonely, and on the achievement of harmony in the relationship. The most boring novel on the presented in the book. Again, exclusively for fans of the writer. Somewhere, he saw that two of the first novel sold in book form, so if anyone is interested, I’d recommend to start with their search.

“N-P” by Banana Yoshimoto

A small novel about a novel. Immediately I will say – I do not like the product. Over two hundred pages the heroes go, cry, and pour into a sieve tears. It was originally written a novel that nobody could translate into another language, since died in mysterious circumstances, and this novel gets to the main character. The idea in principle, is secondary, but it could make a good thriller or horror novel, or simply a psychological novel. But in the end we have semolina. I do not recommend this novel to all those who are not familiar with the work of the writer, To others it may seem interesting only as a “regular book collections.”
